A whopping 207 words. It was all I could do to sleep and read fiction today. I was pretty much useless for anything else. Not sure why I’m tired and achey, but I am. It will either go away or get worse.

Continue reading →Got a bit of a jumpstart tonight. I managed to get 826 words typed out, bringing me to 49,217 words. Cole made her first appearance tonight. She’s eleven now, and her dad gave her a notebook to record her thoughts in. If this continues, Cole’s voice will be in the … Continue reading →
Last night, I began the latest effort to get some writing done on Threads and Ties. I managed 361 words. Not great, but over time, that does add up, so I’m ok with that. Tonight, I scrawled out 348 words. Still not lighting the world on fire, but, it all … Continue reading →

I finished Lynn Viehl’s Way of the Cheetah last night. If you’re a writer, you can’t go wrong with the one-two punch Way of the Cheetah and Holly Lisle’s Create A Character Clinic provide. I’m off to a slow start in 2006. I’m slow in all areas of my life … Continue reading →
Just my experience: It doesn’t work. The upgrade.php file was looking for files that weren’t there. I reinstalled my 2.0 files and I think things are back to normal. Whew! That was an ugly, ugly forty minutes while I fought with that.
Continue reading →I completed my first look at the first 163 pages of Threads & Ties yesterday. Erin from FM graciously looked at my childbirth scene and told me how wrong I had it (never done that, and the Internet is only good for so much). I’ll have some things to fix … Continue reading →
