Photo: Fluffy and Son
Fluffy and her son are still making regular visits at night. I’d dearly love to see them visiting during the day.
Fluffy is relaxing on the porch, which I like to see. We know there were four kittens in this litter. We’ve seen as many as three on the porch at one time, but for the last three to four weeks, we’ve only seen this one kitten. He seems to be doing well, and he has beautiful markings. I want to be able to catch mamma and son to get them spayed and neutered as appropriate.
Photo: Figs
In an effort to spare you even more cat photos, today, I offer fresh figs.
The first crop from my cutting made from our San Antonio fig tree and planted at the Central TX house.

This is my final ribbon rack from my Air Force days. Those who read ribbons could tell you some interesting things about my career, but they might not be able to recognize or tell you what isn’t there or why. I’m not sure I even should (but what does it … Continue reading →
Photo: Hedge Work
Last week’s focus was on alley hedge work. This doesn’t look like much, but I removed three to four feet of growth from the top of this hedge, which runs the length of our property down the alley. Fortunately, it didn’t need a lot of trimming on the side — … Continue reading →
Photo: Riverwalk Ducklings
We were in downtown San Antonio yesterday and had a few minutes before Mr. L’s appointment. We took a brief walk on the Riverwalk and were able to witness ducklings in progress.
