Maybe this is why Rossie and Lady have so much trouble getting along. Most of the time, when I look at Rossie, she has this look in her eyes:
With cats, a steady stare is supposed to be a sign of aggression. In Rossie’s case, I think it’s a passive aggression, because, besides a hiss, she’s never openly aggressive with us.
Lady can also stare with the same intense focus. No wonder we have “Showdown at the OK Corral” moments.
