Mr. L has long envisioned a car frame rotator for use in restoring his 1946 Mercury automobiles. These are available commercially and are fairly expensive. He decided to build his own, and it’s complete enough for him to know it will do exactly what he wants it to do — support the frames and allow them to rotate or be held in a fixed position, providing easy access for sand blasting, welding, painting, and other preparatory functions in the restoration process.
In the bottom photo you should be able to see a homemade frame with crossed posts? The frame rotator will roll under that for compact storage. The metal part of the woodie body sits on top. The frame will store underneath when it isn’t being worked on.
