I was out at the ranch a couple of weeks ago to set up the deer feeder and the game camera. While I was there, I checked on the pond. As expected, the long dry spell we had this summer has taken it’s toll on the pond. It’s a shadow of its spring self.
I made a run to the ranch last week to set up the deer feeder and camera for the final census count for this year. While there, I checked on the “pond.” Here’s what it looks like now:
The hogs have been wallowing in the puddles, which, frankly, are more numerous than they were a couple of months ago.
