We have a water feature along the fence line at the ranch. Last week, we took steps to relocate it out of the main roadway.

That puddle under the fence in the foreground is where the hogs circumvent the hog fence to transition between the properties.  We’ll be filling that in as well.

This area has a long history of holding water. Before the neighbors replaced the fence, the road was closer to where the truck is parked now, and we’d dried it up with boards and a four inch pipe to keep the roadway clear. Now, we’re going to try to drive the water away from the property line by filling the low water areas with rock and building a little berm there. It will take numerous trips, but eventually, we’ll get a solid roadway established in this section.
