We do not have a happy ending. Please pray (or whatever you do that equates to that) for Bill’s wife and children. The authorities (think they) found his body this afternoon. I don’t have any details to share other than what will be on the news.
I’d worked with Bill for almost three months. He was a personable man and a very capable officer. I enjoyed working with him, and I was happy to have him on our team. He is missed both personally and professionally.
Deepest sympathies. Will keep you and yours and his family in my thoughts.

Praying for the family and friends (and co-workers). *sigh* This is one of those things that always happens to “someone else”, but not really. I didn’t know him, I don’t even really know you, Jean, but it hurts to read about. Such is the human condition, I suppose.
