Something more people don’t associate an essential oil company with are food products, and several new ones were released this year. Let me share about them here.

You know I relate better to animals than humans, so I’m going to begin with treats for your pets (mostly dogs). These dental pet chews will have your dog begging for more, but you’ll want to ration them.

Ningxia Zyng, carbonated beverage isn’t a new products, but I love the new packaging.

My personal favorite so far — the Chocolate Coasted Wolfberry Crisp Bars.

How about some Einkorn Granola? This is tasty.

And finally, my favorite kind of pasta, Einkorn Rotini Pasta (they’ve been making spaghetti for some time now).

You’ll see the Einkorn name, but why is that important? Let me quote Young Living’s information about Einkorn:

Known as one of the oldest varieties of wheat, einkorn’s natural genetic code and low gluten levels make it more compatible with the human body than modern, hybridized wheat. What does that mean? It means that einkorn grain is easier to digest, making nutrients better absorbed by the body. And speaking of nutrients, many vitamins and minerals are also more abundant in einkorn grain than in modern wheat, making it a must-have for your pantry.

An important thing to remember when you see some of these new products out of stock is Young Living’s Seed to Seal commitment. The easy answer would be to buy cheaper or manufactured oils to meet demand, but Young Living is committed to providing ONLY home grown products, and these products mature in their own time and are subject to natural conditions that may affect production. This means a product you’ve come to rely upon may go out of stock and remain so for some time, which, when you’ve come to rely upon the product is frustrating. Frustrating as that may be, I prefer that Young Living honor their Seed to Seal commitment to quality versus quantity.
