Bluehost recently made a policy change that subdomains are not covered under the free SSL certificate they issue for WordPress sites. This meant that people trying to visit this blog were being told it was dangerous in insecure.

As a result, I decided to move the blog to a folder under jeanschara.com. The new URL is https://jeanschara.com/pmtoo/journal

I believe this will cause a few problems that I won’t have time to fixe for the next two weeks, but I think most things will settle down and work. I’m just not sure which ones will and which ones won’t. At the moment, anything dependent upon my RSS feed appears to be broken.

I apologize. I’ll get it fixed as soon as I am able. You may still be getting a security error, primarily for images. That’s because all URLs are currently resolving to the old subdomain site, which is no longer covered under the SSL certificate. My short-term fix was to copy the folder into a different directory. For those of you who do not like the technical aspect of these things, let’s just say, “It’s complicated.”

Some of the problems I’m experiencing tonight may be simple propagation errors which will resolve in a few hours. Hang with me for a couple weeks, please. When I get back home, I’ll get it smoothed out.
