You tend to hear a lot about Lady and Natasha. Tarzan gets lumped in there pretty regularly, but you don’t hear much about Ajax. Here’s the first picture I have of Ajax:
I received a text in March 2006 with that picture attached. Ajax is the kitten in the photo.
He’s grown and looks like this today as he studies the front yard through the storm door:
He is a sweet lovable cat who only warmed up to me out of desperation after hubby “abandoned” him with me enough times and he grew desperate for attention. He’s still hubby’s cat, but he’ll come to me for attention sometimes now.
He gets a periodic nickname. His current nickname is Dali Cat for his recent tendency to drape himself over the edges of things. This poor kitty gets carsick every time we have to take him further than the vet’s, so he’s the main reason the cats get to spend long weekends by themselves, even when we’re coming to San Antonio, where they can enjoy the great outdoors (while supervised).
